Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 28 June 2026
This policy may be updated as our services and systems are finalized.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Obaid Quran Academy website and services. By using our website, booking a consultation, or taking lessons, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
2. Use of the Website
You agree to use this website lawfully and respectfully, and not to misuse it or its content. The information on this website is provided to help you learn about our online Quran lessons.
3. Free Consultation & Trial
You can book a free, no-obligation 30-minute consultation, and new students may also begin with a 3-day free trial. Both are free and carry no commitment to enroll. We will use the details you provide to confirm and prepare for your sessions.
4. Classes & Scheduling
Lessons are delivered online through Skype, WhatsApp, or Zoom, and are normally scheduled Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday are usually off), arranged around your local time zone wherever you live. Meeting details will be shared after your consultation is booked.
5. Rescheduling & Cancellation
Where possible, please request rescheduling at least 24 hours before a scheduled class. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable changes. Final rescheduling and cancellation terms will follow the academy’s confirmed policy.
6. Payments & Fees
Monthly plans (for example Nazra, Hifz, and Quran translation) are billed monthly in Canadian dollars (CAD). Family discounts are available for multiple children: 15% off for the first child, 30% off for the second child, and 50% off for the third child. Payment methods and terms are confirmed during onboarding. We do not currently process payments on this website.
7. Refund Policy
The free consultation is always free. Any trial, plan, refund, or cancellation terms will follow the academy’s final confirmed policy, which will be shared before you enroll.
8. Student Responsibilities
For the best results, students are encouraged to attend lessons on time, come prepared, and practice between sessions. Steady, consistent effort helps learning progress.
9. Parent / Guardian Responsibilities
For learners who are children, a parent or guardian is responsible for booking lessons, providing accurate contact details, and supervising the child’s participation in online lessons.
10. Technology & Internet
Online lessons require a suitable device, a stable internet connection, and a quiet space. You are responsible for your own equipment and connection. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by issues outside our control.
11. Respectful Learning Environment
We are committed to a calm, respectful learning environment. We ask all students and families to treat instructors with courtesy, and our instructors will do the same.
12. Limitation of Liability
We provide our services with care, but to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or unforeseen losses arising from use of the website or services.
